The total length of water supply networks in the Zhetisu region is 3,841 km, network wear is 34% (1,304.6 km require reconstruction). Centralized water supply is provided to 325 settlements or 90.7% (urban settlements - 6 (100%), rural settlements - 319 (90.6%), decentralized water supply - 26, imported water - 7.
In 2023, 6.4 billion tenge were allocated for the implementation of 25 projects for the construction and reconstruction of water supply networks (RB - 5.2 billion tenge, MB - 1.2 billion tenge). Centralized water supply is provided to 2 villages (Besagash village, Birlik village) and 112 km of water supply networks in 9 settlements (14 transitional) have been reconstructed.
This year, the implementation of 22 projects (9 new, 13 transitional) has begun for the construction and reconstruction of water supply systems in the amount of 7.3 billion tenge
MB - 922.1 million tenge (including 528.8 million tenge for new projects and 393.3 million tenge for the completion of 11 projects).
As a result, by the end of the year, 428.5 km of networks will be built, 2 more villages will be connected to the centralized water supply (Tokzhailau village, Bibakan, Alakol district), the quality of drinking water in 20 settlements of the region will improve, the level of provision will reach 91.3% (by the end of 2024, 327 settlements will be provided with centralized water supply).
In total, by the end of 2025, 331 settlements (92.5%) with a population of 697.2 thousand people (99.9%) will be provided with centralized water supply.

The main sources of heat in the centralized heat supply system of the region are the Tekeli CHPP and 23 boiler houses (7 boilers on gas; 14 boilers on coal; 3 boilers on liquid fuel). Of these, the Tekeli CHPP is privately owned, the boiler house in the village of Dostyk is owned by JSC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, the rest are municipal property. The length of heating networks is 390 km (the average wear of networks is 50%). In 2024, 3.9 billion tenge were allocated from the budget for the implementation of 4 heat supply projects (RB - 2.6 billion tenge, MB - 1.3 billion tenge). Including:

- the project "Construction of a new boiler house in Usharal with a capacity of 30 Gcal/h" is at the implementation stage (the contract amount is 3.1 billion tenge, 1.8 billion tenge have been spent by 2024 (RB). The contractor is Aziyaenergoproektmontazh LLP, the construction period is 10 months, the work began in April 2023). Currently, the work is 70% complete. 1.3 billion tenge* have been allocated for the completion of the project in 2024 (RB - 925.4 million tenge, MB - 311.4 million tenge).

- it is also planned to launch a block-modular gas boiler house in Ushtobe with a capacity of 12 Gcal/h (4 boilers of 3 Gcal/h, the facility was put into operation in March 2024).

The State Enterprise "Taldykorganteploservis" is the main source of heat supply in the regional center. It unites ten heat-generating facilities with a total capacity of 457.9 Gcal/hour. Among them: the main boiler house "Baskuat", five district boiler houses and four low-capacity boiler houses. The length of heating networks within the city is 179.3 km.

The installed capacity of electric energy in the region is 234.5 MW (renewable energy sources - 210.5 MW, Tekeli CHPP - 24 MW).

Electricity consumption for 5 months of 2024 amounted to 918.3 million kWh (for 2023 - 1.9 billion kWh). Of this, own production of electric energy is 320 million kWh (renewable energy sources - 247.5 million kWh; CHPP, coal - 72.5 million kWh). Purchased from other sources – 598.3 million kW*h.

Today, there are 15 renewable energy facilities with an installed capacity of 210.5 MW (Aksu district – 1 hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 2 MW; Eskeldin district – 4 hydroelectric power stations with a capacity of 40.7 MW; Sarkan district – 5 hydroelectric power stations with a capacity of 27.4 MW and 1 wind power station with a capacity of 50 MW; Tekeli city – 2 hydroelectric power stations with a capacity of 35.9 MW, Alakol district – 1 wind power station with a capacity of 50 MW, Karatal district – 1 solar power station with a capacity of 4.5 MW).

In 2024, it is planned to complete 3 renewable energy projects with an installed capacity of 42.1 MW, worth 17.4 billion tenge (Eskeldinsky district 1 hydroelectric power station - 29 MW, Sarkansky district: 2 hydroelectric power stations - 13.1 MW).

By 2026, it is planned to implement 8 more objects (with an installed capacity of 84.7 MW, worth 40.8 billion tenge).

Also, Saudi Arabia inverters are planning (a large project) "Construction of a wind power plant in the Dzungarian Gate area of ​​​​the Alakol district" with an installed capacity of 1 GW, worth 906.3 billion tenge.

According to the regional scheme "Comprehensive gasification of the Zhetisu region with a perspective up to 2030", out of 358 settlements in the region, 192 settlements are subject to gasification (the remaining 166 settlements will be considered after 2030).

To date, the level of gasification of the region is 46%. 33 settlements have been gasified, 327 thousand people have received access to gas.

According to the instructions of the Head of State, our task is to provide 126 settlements with natural gas by the end of 2025 (101 settlements - from the Kerbulak district to Taldykorgan and 25 settlements of the Panfilov district). By the end of 2024, another 30 settlements will be connected to gas. (new 22, 8 carried over from last year), Koksu district – 14, Karatal district – 6, Eskeldinsky district – 9, Taldykorgan city – 1. 433 km of gas distribution networks will be built.
